First Fine Arts 2025 Lenten Concert Performance
River City Winds is thrilled to be a guest to San Antonio’s First Baptist Church during their very special seasonal fine arts spotlight series. We will be performing works that remember and celebrate the Lenten season.
The First Fine Arts Series is a venture that is dedicated to the idea that art is a gift from God, and that it should be cultivated and celebrated among the people. Concerts throughout the Series will bring together the community and the church to enjoy the gift of music. The spirit of bringing people together is in keeping with our purpose.

TMEA 2025 Performance
River City Winds is making our TMEA debut this season!
We will be performing a showcase highlighting repertoire taken directly from the PML of varying styles and difficultly levels to encourage more small chamber ensembles and acknowledge the fluidity of chamber music!

Caroling at Whole Foods
An annual tradition for River City Winds, we’re headed down to the Quarry to do some caroling at the local Whole Foods Market!
Enjoy some holiday shopping (or take a lunch break at Whole Foods) and listen to classic holiday music performed by your favorite San Antonio wind trio!
Monday, December 23, 2024 starting at 11 AM; no admission or tickets, but donations are greatly appreciated!

Christmas around the world
Join River City Winds and the Prickly Pear Clarinet Ensemble as we celebrate the season!
Right in the middle of the month, on Sunday, December 15 at 7:30pm, you can enjoy a free holiday performance at the Helotes Hills United Methodist Church.
Featuring new and classic tunes from all over, we’re looking forward to bringing the joy of music into the holiday season!

Symphony of the Hills - Bolero: Passion of Spain
The symphony brings the passion of Spain and the thrilling music of some of the world’s greatest composers of Spanish music: Villa Lobos, Rodrigo, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Ravel. Isaac Bustos, a classical guitarist of high reputation who is the new professor at UTSA, will perform Rodrigo’s Concierto Aranjuez, the most popular guitar concerto in the repertoire.
